Once you are in Katapola to visit the Restaurant Capetan Dimos could get an epicurean stunner. Right beside the docks for smaller boats and yachts, Capetan Dimos catches out with a blend of pleasent music. From classic via jazz to selected rare greek compositions. Giannis Lourdaros, afficionado, landlord and chef de cuisine also is the protagonist of the “Other Greek Cuise”- creative, fresh and indigenous.

Giannis¢ unique dishes with local ingredients in-season, specialties from local and Mediterranean cuisine, are created with passion and tradition to quality. Either the goat cooked in ouzu with honey and thyme or the typical Amorgian patato (goat with potatoes) is advisable. Pork cooked in beer with apples and prunes or alternatively with orange sauce; octopus with lemongrass, ginger and ouzo; seafood, pizza & pasta, delicious salads with fruits, extra fine sweets … The menue caters for all tastes.
